Support

First the addresses: three separate inboxes, for the game, the site and business. Then two different things, and they are not versions of each other: a person deciding to send something for work they like, and a company buying advertising space. Mixing them would be dishonest to both.

A — Contact

Which address to write to

Each address is for one job. The same person reads all three; they are kept apart so that a player's bug report and a company's proposal do not wait in the same pile. Writing to the wrong one loses nothing.

What is it about?

Game support

Galaxy Fusion

galaxyfusion@lacunate.com Open in Gmail (opens in a new tab)

For anything about the game. It is not released yet.

  • A bug, freeze or crash in the game
  • Account, sign-in and save problems
  • Deleting your data in the game, or getting a copy of it
  • Suggestions

If you are reporting a bug, include your phone model, Android version and what happened. Game support will never ask you for a password or a verification code.

General support

This site, and everything else

support@lacunate.com Open in Gmail (opens in a new tab)

For anything that does not fit another address. Not sure which one to use? Use this one.

  • A broken link or a wrong fact on this site
  • Questions about this site's privacy notice or terms
  • General questions about the studio

Business

Companies, brands, press

business@lacunate.com Open in Gmail (opens in a new tab)

For anyone who wants to do something together with the studio.

  • Sponsored orbits: advertising in Galaxy Fusion
  • Publishing, distribution and licensing offers
  • Press, interviews and creators — the permissions in the press kit need no asking
  • Any other idea for working together

Say who you are, what you have in mind, and any timeframe. Agreements are made in writing, outside the game; the studio's tax registration is not open yet, so no invoice can be issued today. Starting the conversation does not have to wait for it.

B — People

Supporting the studio

Galaxy Fusion was made by one person and it is free to play. There is no donation button on this page, no account number to send anything to, and nothing here is asking for money.

We do not collect donations. If a way to support the work does open, it will be a purchase and it will happen inside the app store, not on this site. What it buys is not settled yet.

If someone wants to help anyway, the things that help most cost nothing: play the game, leave an honest review on Google Play, write in when you find a bug, and tell one person about it. All four are worth more than a donation, and all four are free.

No in-game advantage is given in exchange for support. No badge, no currency, no cosmetic, no frame, no name colour, no XP multiplier, no ad removal, no early access, no supporter title. Not now and not later. Two reasons, and both are real: the app stores forbid it, and a game that sells advantage stops being the game it was.

Nothing is open yet

Nothing is on sale and no payment can be made anywhere. That will not change before the game itself ships and before the studio is registered to sell things properly. When it does, it appears here and in the store, and nowhere else.

Sponsored orbits

This is not a donation and it is not on the same footing as the section above. It is advertising inventory, sold under a written agreement.

Eleven slots for sale

Galaxy Fusion ships a background theme called SUPPORTERS. Where the other themes draw bodies, this one draws empty orbits — twelve of them, one for each tier of the ladder, each a socket waiting for a mark. The higher the tier, the larger the orbit, and the rarer it is on screen. The black hole's orbit is not for sale at any price, which leaves eleven.

A sponsor takes a slot. The mark sits in the orbit, in the game, in the theme a player chose to turn on.

It is declared as advertising. A directly sold logo is still an ad, so the game's Play Console “contains ads” declaration has to be yes, and once the game reaches iOS the app has to offer a way to report an ad as inappropriate. Nobody is asked to pretend otherwise, and a sponsor should know that is how it will be filed.

Nothing is bought on this page. There is no cart, no price list and no “reserve a slot” button. It starts with an email and is settled in a written agreement outside the game — which is also the only arrangement the store payment rules permit. The studio's tax registration is not open yet, and no invoice can be issued before it is.
